How to clean leather sneakers at home?

Preparation

1. Unlace your sneakers and take out the insoles, this will help to clean the inside of the shoe better.

2. Insert Sole Fresh Shoe Trees to shape the toe box and remove the dirt in the creases.

3. Use a dry “Premium” Sole Fresh brush to wipe away dust and surface contaminants from the material.

Cleaning

4. Dip the Sole Fresh „Sole“ brush in cold water, shake off the absorbed water and apply 5-7 drops of the Cleaner to the brush. Now you can clean the sole, most of the dirt will be removed.

5. Use a microfiber towel to remove the dirty foam from the surface of the sole; you can make a little effort to clean the sole better.

6. For the upper part, use a „Premium“ brush. Moisten it with cold water. Shake off excess water. Apply 5-7 drops off the cleaner to the brush and create foam over the entire surface of the sneaker in circular motions. Repeat if necessary.

7. Use a microfiber towel to remove the foam.

8. The mesh inside the shoe should also be cleaned with a „Premium“ brush — material may deteriorate from a harsh brush. Brush the inside of the shoe thoroughly. Make sure to rinse the brush after each action.

9. Blot the net dry with a microfiber towel. If there is a little cleaner left in the material, soak the „Premium“ brush with clean water, clean the material without detergent and pat it dry with a dry towel.

10. To clean the shoe laces add some cleaner to the bowl of warm water. Dip the shoelaces. Leave for 15 minutes and wash with warm water. You can dry them with help of a microfiber towel.

11. Clean the insoles by using a „Classic“ or „Premium“ brush and remove the foam with a microfiber towel.

Almost Ready

12. Leave the sneakers to dry in room temperature. Do not use any heating. Once your shoes are dry, you may use a special leather conditioner „Sneaker Oil“, it will keep the leather soft, shiny and elastic. Hold it in 15-20cm and apply. Repeat in 15 minutes if necessary. Leave the shoes to dry at room temperature for 24h.
